I have had the pleasure of working closely with Brittany for the past three years. Brittany was the team lead on our IBM Co-Marketing project, where she led a small but mighty team to drive IBM’s co-marketing partnership in the financial services sector. Brittany not only led the team and managed the client but also conducted discovery workshops with each new partner, and then distilled our findings into bespoke content strategies for their go-to-market launches. Brittany led this project with a combination of empathy and data-driven strategy.

I was also fortunate enough to work with Brittany on many internal KPI projects, such as our “History of Caps Lock” post and our “Bailey Brothers Redesign Video”. On these projects, Brittany directed creative and content strategy. She did an excellent job of infusing fun into our educational content while showcasing the range of expertise that WillowTree has in multiple creative domains. Brittany was a real driving force in bringing the team together to launch these projects.

Throughout my three years of working at WillowTree, Brittany was also my direct manager. In this role, Brittany was extremely kind and supportive while still helping to position me to meet my growth goals and drive success at the company. Brittany and I worked together to create dynamic content for the WillowTree Marketing Blog and for LinkedIn about WillowTree’s Creative Services team and the great work we’ve done on brand initiatives for clients. This was an initiative that she and I were really passionate about, and which she facilitated with grace. She was able to build relationships with stakeholders across the company, take input from leadership across multiple departments, and manage a stable of writers and creatives to delivery a number of important blog posts over 2024 — ensuring the Creative Services team met key OKRs. The page was written to instill confidence in regulated financial institutions seeking agility without compromise. I led content strategy, research, and description writing as part of a massive ecommerce store launch requiring over 10,000 product descriptions. This specific description—a product story for the Allison Transmission® Fluid Sampling & Analysis Kit—was crafted to do more than explain a tool. It was written to build trust, empower preventative maintenance, and humanize technical gear. We described it like a “doctor for your transmission” to make the benefits crystal clear and actionable. The store went on to generate over $1 million in sales within its first six months—proof that the right words move both minds and margins.

This was more than a content brief—it was a strategic storytelling system. I led the creation of this modular messaging playbook to help Dizzion and IBM go to market together with clarity, agility, and cohesion. Our mission was to give both teams a shared language: one that reflected their technical strengths, aligned to real market pain points, and offered instant usability across one-pagers, landing pages, and campaign assets.

It was built to scale. Every word was grounded in research, shaped by stakeholder interviews, and optimized for plug-and-play execution across verticals like finance, healthcare, and legal. This brief helped simplify the complexities of a highly regulated space and made it easy for marketers to build consistent, high-converting assets in half the time.
